Steampunk Patty O'Green by LillyKitten Steampunk Patty O'Green by LillyKitten
Steampunk Rainbow Brite series- Patty O'Green.

I've seen a lot of Lolita, Steampunk, Goth etc versions of many pop culture icons. Disney girls, Nintendo characters and so on.

I love the idea of it, it's a great way of exploring creative design. I went through a bit of a phase searching them out and hunting them up.

I got quite inspited by the hunt, but I wanted to do something totally new, something other people simply hadn't thought of, hadn't explored, so i started pairing up unlikely styles with series and my first idea was Steampunk Rainbow Brites. Their cute childish, lolitaesque demenor was totally NOT the gritty raw Victorian look of Steampunk.

I like a challange.

Patty O'Green was my first choice. She was ALWAYS my favourite as a little girl. I loved her, so she was the ideal place to start. I've planned out and sketched almost all of them, so keep a weather eye out, she's just the beginning f a beautiful relationship XD

I question the background, perhaps it's a bit much? I'm not sure. I may change it... but until then...

Aaaaugh! SO ADORABLE! You, little girl, grow up fast! That or start hitting people with the wrench so I don't have to lust after you and can just think you're awesome.

Also, from further up, Steampink has to happen. Bubblegum Goth is one of my favorites anyway. You will see that this happens! Chop chop, woman! Hyah, mule! Howdy, neighbor, move it or lose it! Uh... please?

Well, there WAS a Tickled Pink... And I believe one of the randoms (I can't remember her name, something to do witht he Moon) was ALSO pink, so there are two to look forward to in that respect- Yellow is boyish, Violet is Victorian, Indigo is fighter, Rainbow Brite is Captain, but Tickled pink will be Steampinked ;)

Thanks! I would so love to do my hair like that, it's long enough, but it'd probably look silly on me! XD

Oh I love her! The cutesyness is a little overwhelming in a totally good way. Something about the spanner makes me squee a little too....

And dear lord I want that dress. <3

Giant novelty spanner... there's something awesome about them, I got one for my brother for his birthday (well, it's actually useful for doing train things- but it looks oversized in a cartoony way!)

So do I! I love doing these, but I end up wanting the clothing all the time D:
